Rebel Converting, a Milwaukee-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through education and advocacy, is thrilled to announce its selection as a finalist in the Corporate Citizen of the Year – Community Catalyst category for the 2025 BizTimes Nonprofit Excellence Awards. This prestigious recognition celebrates the organization’s transformative work in fostering community engagement and driving meaningful change across the region.

Under the visionary leadership of Loretta Kryshak, Executive Director of Rebel Reform, (the social outreach arm of Rebel Converting) the organization has become a beacon of hope and opportunity in Milwaukee. Loretta’s dedication to addressing systemic inequities and empowering individuals has been instrumental in shaping Rebel Reform’s mission. Her leadership has guided the nonprofit to implement innovative programs, including skill-building workshops, youth mentorship, and community-driven initiatives that tackle pressing challenges and promote resilience.
